FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR DEC 09 EXAMINATION ONLY

Q1.   What will happen to those students (Enrolled between Jan 09 and May 09) who have attempted all the papers of Sec A Part I and have cleared a minimum of three papers with GPA of 5 and also have completed six months from the date of enrollment? Can they apply for theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - Such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I along with remaining papers of Sec A Part I only.

Q2.   What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of three papers of Sec A Part I with GPA of 5 and also have completed one year from the date of enrollment (Enrolled between July 08 and Dec 08)? Can they apply for all the theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - Such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I along with remaining papers of Sec A Part I and three papers of Sec A Part II in Dec 09 examination only. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab I and remaining subjects of Sec A Part I, the result of Sec A Part II papers will be cancelled.

Q3.   What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of three papers of Sec A Part I with GPA of 5 and also  have completed more than one and half year from the date of enrollment (Enrolled prior to June 08)? Can they apply for all theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - Such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I along with remaining papers of Sec A Part I and all theory papers of Sec A Part II in Dec 09 examination. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab I and remaining subjects of Sec A Part I, the result of Sec A Part II papers will be cancelled.

Q4.   What will happen to those students who have not cleared any papers or have cleared less than three papers under old syllabus and now want to shift or have shifted to new syllabus and also have completed more than one year from the date of enrollment (Enroll for Dec 08)? Can they apply for all theory papers of Sec A Part I and Part II?

Ans: - Such students will be permitted for all theory papers of Sec A Part I only.  

NOTE:-

(i.)  No Students will be allowed to appear for Sec A Part II, whatever may be the period of enrollment, unless & until he fulfills the minimum requirement of passing three subjects(For AMIETE) and two subjects(For DipIETE) of Sec A Part I with GPA of 5. Such students when appearing for Sec A Part II will also have to appear for Lab I.

Q5. What is the procedure for collecting Final Marksheet and Provisional / Final Certificate.

Ans:- Students who have fully cleared all the papers and do not wish to appear for any improvement must send an undertaking that they do not wish to appear for improvement and would like to get their Final Marksheet and Provisional / Final Certificate. They are also advised to pay their Fee (Rs 3350 /- for AMIETE students & Rs 4800 /- for DIPIETE students)

Q6. What is the procedure for collecting Duplicate Membership card ?

Ans: In case you have lost your Membership Identity card, you have to send a draft of Rs 500 /- along with the latest photograph and an FIR for issue of duplicate Identity card. And for replacement, you have to send a draft of Rs 200 /- along with the latest photograph and your original membership Id card.

5.   What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of two papers of Sec A Part I (For DipIETE)  with GPA of 5 and also have completed more than one year from the date of enrollment (Enrolled prior to Dec 08)? Can they apply for all the theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - Such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I along with remaining papers of Sec A Part I and all papers of Sec A Part II in Dec 09 examination. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab I and remaining subjects of Sec A Part I, the result of Sec A Part II papers will be cancelled.
