IETE has been sponsoring Research Fellowships for suitable projects of interest to IETE as part of R&D efforts. Researchers pursuing Ph.D programmes at institutions of higher learning in India are encouraged to participate. So far three research projects under this scheme have been completed, leading the award of Ph.D degrees to the researchers. This year under this scheme Ms. Preeti Sharma has completed her Ph.D programme at IIT Delhi and her thesis entitled, “Studies on Micromachined Structure for RF Applications” are available in IETE HQ Library for reference. IETE students and prospective researchers are welcome to familiarise themselves with the completed research projects under the IETE Research Fellowship scheme, copies of Ph.D thesis of these projects are available at IETE HQ Library.
