IETE Centres
From the very beginning, IETE has recognised the need to spread its technical activities to all the regions of the Country. For this purpose, Centres / Sub Centres have been established in major cities. There are 65 Centres / Sub Centres with total membership of 60,000. These Centres/Sub Centres are encouraged to :
- conduct technical activities like, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, technical tours;
- provide continuing education, guiding Classes/ laboratory assistance;
- coordinate IETE Students’ Forums;
- conduct IETE examinations;
- take up professional development of members.
All of the Centres / Sub Centres have library, lecture hall, laboratory and related facilities and function from their own buildings / premises or from rented premises.
