O Farooq, obtained BSc Engineering and MSc Engineering degrees form Z H College of Engineering and Technology AMU in 1991 and 1993 respectively. He joined the department of Electronics Engineering as a lecturer in 1992 and is currently doing PhD at Loughborough University, UK under the commonwealth scholarship. His area of research is phoneme recognition. He has authored and co-authored over 40 papers in refereed academic journals and national/international conference proceedings. He is a Member of IEEE USA, IEE UK, IETE, India and Life Member of ISTE India.
S Datta, received BSc degree from the University of Calcutta and MSc and PhD degrees in Computer science from the University of London. He spent twenty years in industrial research related to information technology and advanced signal processing at the research and Advanced Development Centre, International Computers Ltd, where he worked as a Senior Research Consultant. . |
He is a Fellow of IETE, India, Member of IEE, UK, British Machine Vision Association, the Society of the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour and the British Computer Society. * * * Yusuf Uzzaman Khan graduated with BSc in Engineering from AMU Aligarh in 1990 and post graduated with ME degree in 1993 from University of Roorkee. He was a Felix scholar for DPhil. in Oxford University from 1994 to 1997. He earned his DPhil in Trinity term, 1997. He was a Post Doctoral Fellow in Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University, Canada in 1999 and 2000. He was a visiting scientist to McGill University in summer of 2001 and 2002. From Jan 2001 to till date working as Lecturer in the Department of Electronics Engineering, AMU Aligarh. He has six years of teaching experience and has publications in Journals, International and National conferences. His current research interests are in signal processing, wavelets and neural networks. He is a Fellow of IETE, India. * * *
